The massive Awami March of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led by party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday set out for Multan from Rahimyar Khan with droves of supporters and party activists joining as the caravan surged towards Multan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
After spending the night in Rahimyar Khan, the PPP march will make a stopover in Bahawalpur where a charged Bilawal Bhutto will address the huge gathering.
Senior PPP leader and senator Sherry Rahman, in a statement, has said that the rulers have been blinded by the power but they were ready to face any resistant politics.
She said the people rejected by the PPP were now addressing empty venues in Sindh.
During his Wednesday night’s address, Bilawal Bhutto has maintained that the PML-Q would not vote in favour of the Opposition’s no-trust motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan “for free” until they made it a lucrative offer.
Bilawal also said his party might opt to vote for Shehbaz Sharif for the slot of prime ministership.
Bilawal said that the history is a witness to the fact that rights are never presented on a plate and one has to fight and snatch his or her rights. For getting rights one has to struggle, work hard and offer sacrifices, he stressed.
He said the selected prime minister has lost the confidence of the people and the time has come to table no-confidence motion against him in the Parliament. With the no-confidence motion it will be exposed that who is standing with this selected thief and who is standing with the people, he added.
Bilawal had started his long march from Karachi on February 27 and passed through major cities of Sindh while addressing large gatherings of party workers. His container had arrived in Rahimyar Khan on the fourth day of his long journey towards Islamabad.
Bilawal would arrive in Sahiwal on 4th March, and finally to Lahore on 5th of March where he would address a large rally at Nasir Bagh.
