As many as 885 Pakistani agriculture experts returned home after completing advanced training in China, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to HEC spokesperson, the mission of training 1000 graduates in China under the Prime Minister’s programme has been successfully completed.
As many as 648 male and 237 female experts trained from Chinese universities will now serve as master trainers.
The training aims to bring about an agricultural revolution in Pakistan through drones, IOT and artificial intelligence.
Pakistani experts have acquired advanced skills in 9 key areas including cotton, hybrid rice and livestock.
The programme supervised by HEC aims to transfer world-class technology to local farmers.
Experts from all provinces including Balochistan are included in the programme and the remaining 115 trainees will back in April 2026.
Modern seed production and water management will increase the country’s production and ensure food security.
