Police in Balakot, Mansehra on Tuesday appealed to the people protesting the death of Javed Mahandri, a TikToker, at the hands of a policeman to stay calm and not to take the law into their own hands after the arrest of the cop, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A local SP said that the cop would be dealt with as per law, and that justice will be done in the case.
The funeral for the deceased will be offered at Balakot today.
On the other hand, 24NewsHD TV channel has obtained the video of an incident of shooting, which had led to instant death of Mahandri.
The video clearly shows a policeman shooting at the TikToker due to which he died on the spot.
The incident infuriated the people as they threw stones at the police station to vent their anger.
The protestors later also set the police station as well as a police van ablaze.
