Actress Sunny Leone shared a proud parenting moment, revealing that her 10-year-old adopted daughter, Nisha Kaur Weber, has not only invented but also patented and started earning from her creation, a clever 2-in-1 tissue holder with a mini trash bin called the ‘Boo Box’.
Speaking with filmmaker Farah Khan during a recent YouTube visit to her Mumbai home, Sunny explained how the invention came from a simple daily problem. “She has allergies like most children in Mumbai because of all the dust.
I would see tissues lying everywhere and tell her, ‘Don’t be so lazy, pick up the tissue and put it in the bin.’ Then one day, she attached a disposable cup to the tissue box using tape. I thought this was very interesting and funny,” Sunny recalled.
The idea has since been transformed into a patented product, priced at ₹999 and available on platforms like Amazon. Sunny added with pride, “The boys are now jealous that Nisha will have a lot of money and that they will always have to ask her for it. She’s already making money at 10!”
Sunny and her husband, Daniel Weber, adopted Nisha in 2017 from Latur, Maharashtra. They later welcomed their sons, Noah and Asher, via surrogacy. Farah Khan praised Sunny for fostering a creativity-filled home where her children’s independence and artistic pursuits are encouraged.
On the work front, Sunny was last seen in the neo-noir crime thriller Kennedy, directed by Anurag Kashyap and starring Rahul Bhat, available to stream on Zee5.
