Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad to review solarization project in Balochistan.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Energy. The Balochistan government officials also took part in the meeting.
Deputy Prime Minister directed the concerned departments to speed up work for the early and effective completion of solarizing tubewells in Balochistan. He asked all departments to cooperate. He also said that using resources properly will help finish the project on time.
Dar said that the project will help promote clean energy, reduce costs, and increase agricultural production. He added that the project will play a key role in improving the economic condition of farmers in Balochistan.
