A fishing boat has capsized in the sea near Ibrahim Hyderi, close to Rehri Goth in Karachi, leaving one fisherman missing while 18 others were rescued, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to rescue officials, the boat was carrying 19 fishermen when it overturned under unclear circumstances while at sea.
Emergency teams were immediately alerted and launched a swift operation in the affected area.
Officials confirmed that 18 fishermen were pulled out of the water safely and provided assistance on the shore.
One fisherman, however, remains missing, and a search operation is currently underway to trace him.
Rescue teams continue to comb the area, while efforts are being made to determine the cause of the incident.
