Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Jati Umra in Lahore on Sunday, where he met his elder brother and his party, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) president, Nawaz Sharif, in a high-level political consultation.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the meeting included a detailed discussion on the country’s current political situation.
The sources said both leaders exchanged views on key national issues and the overall direction of political developments.
The discussion also covered matters related to the upcoming elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, with both leaders reviewing the political landscape and party preparations for the region.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister also briefed Nawaz Sharif regarding the recent increase in petroleum prices and took him into confidence over the government’s decisions in this regard.
