Taking a big action in Baloch Colony in Karachi, police recovered a large cache of weapons from a suspect, who was involved in the illegal sale of weapons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Police officials said that 42 repeaters, different types of rifles, including 12 M4 Rifles, and five 9MM pistols were recovered from the man.
Dacoit killed in police encounter
One dacoit was killed, while his accomplice managed to flee during an encounter with police at Shahrah-e-Quaideen in Karachi.
Police said that the dacoits were robbing a man of his valuables when cops spotted them and reached at the spot.
The Force said that the deceased, who was identified as Adil Pachari, was nominated in several cases registered at Ferozeabad, Tipu Sultan, New Town and Bahadurabad police stations.
Three dacoits arrested in Orangi Town
Police arrested three dacoits in an injured condition during an encounter in Orangi Town locality of Karachi.
Weapons and stolen goods were also recovered from them.
One injured in Gulistan-e-Johar
One person was injured while resisting a robbery bid in Gulistan-e-Johar area of the city.
Pedestrian dies after hit by car
A pedestrian was killed after he was hit by a car near Dunba Goth at Super Highway.
The deceased was identified as 75-year-old Ahmad.
His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Body of girl found at New Karachi
Body of an 18-year-old girl was found at a house in Ayub Goth in New Karachi.
Later, the body was shifted to a hospital.
One person injured near Nagan Chowrangi
One person was injured in an incident of firing near Nagan Chowrangi.
He was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
Woman injured in Orangi Town
A woman was injured after receiving a bullet in Orangi Town.
The woman was identified as 70-year-old Nargis.
