A man murdered his wife after torturing her severely in Kashmore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident took place in village Ali Sher Jakhrani in the jurisdiction of Guddu Police Station in Kashmore.
The brother of the victim said that residents of the area informed him that Ghulam Mohammad killed his wife, Nawabzadi Jakhran, after physically torturing her.
The brother further said that when he reached his sister’s house, he noticed signs of torture which were visible on his sister’s body.
The police said that the in-laws of the deceased claimed that she did not die due to torture but died due to electrocution.
Soon after receiving the report, police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body of the woman to Kashmore Civil Hospital.
Police said that after the post-mortem report, the real cause of the woman’s death will be determined.
Notorious dacoit arrested during police encounter
Police arrested a notorious dacoit in an injured condition during a police encounter in Maso More in Kashmore.
Police said that during heavy exchange of fire, police arrested a dacoit who was identified as Sanaullah alias Sanu Khalti son of Amir Mohammad Khalti.
Police recovered a pistol from the possession of the arrested dacoit. Later, the police shifted the dacoit to the hospital. Police said that the accused was involved in some serious criminal cases, including dacoity, snatching, and ransom. Police started a search operation to apprehend the accomplices of the dacoit.
