MDCAT in Punjab to be held on Oct 26

The University of Health Sciences has announced that ‎a total of 50458 candidates set to appear in the Punjab MDCAT 2025 test on October 26, 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV.‎

The entrance exam for admissions to medical and dental colleges in Punjab will be held simultaneously in 12 cities of the province.

According to official figures, a total of 50,458 candidates from Punjab have registered for this year’s MDCAT.

To ensure the smooth, transparent, and secure conduct of the examination, UHS has intensified its coordination with the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department.

The provincial department has issued directives to the deputy commissioners of 12 districts to complete all necessary arrangements ahead of the scheduled date.

On exam day, high alert will be maintained across 26 designated centers in Lahore and other cities.

Personnel from Rescue 1122, NADRA, the health department, traffic police, and security agencies will remain deployed to provide support and maintain order.

The Punjab Home Department has also been requested to impose Section 144 around the exam centers to prevent any disruptions or untoward incidents.

For staffing, the Higher Education and School Education departments have been engaged to provide examination personnel, while the IGP Punjab has been directed to ensure comprehensive security and law-and-order arrangements.

At UHS itself, preparations are in full swing, with senior faculty members assigned to key examination duties.

Moreover, all examination staff are undergoing security clearance to eliminate the risk of malpractice or misconduct.

Vice Chancellor of UHS, Professor Ahsan Waheed Rathore, is personally overseeing the entire process.
