Punjab Environment Department has announced fee for vehicle emission test across the Punjab, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
DG Environment Imran Hamid Sheikh said motorcycle emission test fee has been fixed at Rs 100 and for rickshaw test fee will be Rs 300.
The emission test for cars up to 1000 cc will be Rs 500, while test fee for 1000 to 1500 cc cars is at Rs 800, there will also be a fine for non-payment.
The emission test fee for 1500 to 2500 cc vehicles is Rs 1000 and fee for 2500 to 4500 cc vehicles is Rs 1500. DG Imran Hamid Sheikh said that owners will have to comply immediately.
Imran Hamid Sheikh said that fee for vehicles above 4500 cc is Rs 2000, all owners should deposit immediately. All fees will be deposited in government account number C-03855 and no discount will be given.
