Punjab Chief Minister says she has zero tolerance for corruption: Praises Field Marshal Asim Munir’s leadership: Meets participants of National Security and War Course

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has maintained that nepotism has totally been eliminated from the province as her government appoints no one on political grounds anymore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to a delegation of National Security and War Course participants which called on her in Lahore on Friday, Maryam Nawaz declared that she has zero tolerance on corruption issue. “I will fight as I am responsible for running the affairs of Punjab,” she added.

National Security War Course participants appreciated the public welfare projects of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Welcoming the delegation, Chief Minister Maryam congratulated Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force on the success of Operation Banyan-al-Marsus.

Chief Minister Maryam paid tribute to Field Marshal Asim Munir and other military leaderss.

Chief Minister Maryam informed the delegation of the National Security and War Course about the innovative and historic projects of the Punjab government.

Chief Minister Maryam also answered the questions of the participants.

The delegate of Bangladesh appreciated the public services of Chief Minister Maryam.

Speaking on the occasion, Maryam Nawaz said the spirit of kindness is the basic principle of good governance. Every decision of the ruler has an impact on the lives of the people, she added.

She said a country that is economically and defensively strong in the world is looked upon with respect. 

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said there are no political appointments in Punjab now, nepotism has been completely eliminated. 

In Punjab, appointments are made on 100 percent merit after conducting interviews, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said there is zero tolerance in the matter of corruption, there is no forgiveness if corruption comes to light. 

It is the people's money, it has to be spent on the people, Maryam Nawaz said.

Maryam Nawaz said contracts are awarded purely on merit and transparency through e-tendering. 

The homeland is the design of mother earth and it is intolerable to deceive her, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said various institutions are constantly monitoring as my eyes and ears. 

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said the fact that there is no accusation of corruption against the government is a great success. 

I am not against local government, I believe in the transfer of powers, Maryam Nawaz said.

NFC award is given according to the population, Maryam Nawaz added.

All provinces generate their own resources and Alhamdulillah Punjab's revenue is one trillion rupees, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said it is a pleasure to share projects with other provinces. 

We are always ready to cooperate with every province for public welfare projects, Maryam Nawaz said.

Balochistan had requested assistance in the Safe City project and about 15 calling system to KPK Shared, Maryam Nawaz said.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that canal issue is in CCI and what Punjab does with its water resources is our problem. 

There is no positive response on monitoring water resources through telemetry system, Maryam Nawaz added.

I never interfere in anyone's powers and affairs and canal reforms should not be made a political issue and I am responsible for Punjab's affairs and will fight for it as my position on the issue of Punjab's rights is clear, Maryam Nawaz said. 

Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif have always been a guide for me, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said Suthra Punjab is the world's largest waste management program. 

When she took office, the law and order situation was different and now Punjab is a safe place, Maryam Nawaz said.

Thermal imaging drone successfully used to identify flood victims and successfully evacuated flood victims through drones, Maryam Nawaz said.

Punjab's agriculture is being mechanized for the first time, Maryam Nawaz added.

Our health centers can now be compared to the standards of any European clinic, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said despite being expensive, cancer patients in Punjab will be treated with a co-ablation machine. 

Maryam Nawaz Sharif said 15 smog gun machines have been imported to prevent smog. 

She said 500 villages of Punjab are being developed in the first phase. People from other provinces are migrating to Punjab for better opportunities. 

Participants of delegation said the projects being started in Punjab are surprising. 

The projects of CCD, Anti-Narcotics, Green Initiative and Social Protection are excellent, the delegation said.

The delegation of the National Security War Course includes Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force and civil officers.

The delegation participants also include 47 participants from 26 countries.

Officers from Australia, Britain, China, America, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Palestine, South Korea and other countries included in the delegation.
