After wreaking havoc in Rangpur, the floodwater has now reached Muzaffargarh district entering hundreds of houses and pummeling standing crops, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to the district administration, 176,000 people living in 139 villages of the district would be affected by the flood.
The administration has said that it has set up 18 relief camps.
Dozens of villages in Multan division submerged
Meanwhile, dozens of villages and towns on the banks of the River Chenab have been flooded as the floodwater passes through the Multan division.

On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will visit Multan today and inspect the arrangements made at the relief camps set up from Head Muhammad Wala to Qasim Bela.
Water level in River Chenab goes up
Meanwhile, the water level in the River Chenab continues to rise following the release of more water by India into the river.
The river was in high flood at Head Marala, where the water flow had exceeded 450,000 cusecs till last reports came in.
Flood victims in Renala Khurd await govt help
Thousands of flood-affected people in Renala Khurd are still awaiting government help despite the passage of so many days.
Rescue teams are nowhere to be seen, while the people have been forced to seek shelter in school buildings.
The people have appealed to the government to rescue them as their children were dying because of hunger.
River Ravi in extremely high flood near Pir Mahal
The River Ravi was in extremely high flood at Head Sidhnai near Pir Mahal, prompting the authorities to breach the Mai Safoora embankment due to which several villages were flooded.
Several villages were submerged after a breach in Yasin Ghalowala Zamindara dyke following water from the Sutlej River spilled over into nearby lands.
Same was the situation in Arifwala where dozens of villages were inundated while crops were destroyed.
This further compounded the problems for the flood-hit people in the area who are still awaiting the government’s help.
Swollen River Chenab heads towards Chiniot
A dangerous situation persists in the River Chenab as over 600,000 cusecs of water will reach Chiniot after passing through Khanki and Qadirabad.
Alarming situation at Khairpur Tamewali
Floodwaters left a trail of destruction in Khairpur Tamewali near Bahawalpur where several localities, including Toka Makhi, Jhok Sufi and Rang Bhara were submerged, while crops grown over thousands of acres of land were also destroyed.
The situation forced the residents to shift to safe places along with their cattle.
River Ravi bursts its banks in Kabirwala
River Ravi was in extremely high flood at Kabirwala.
At Kot Abdul Hakim, floodwater spilled over into a railway bridge, forcing the closure of train service at Khanewal-Shorkot section.
River Indus bursts its banks in Dera Ghazi Khan
In Dera Ghazi Khan, the situation became precarious after the River Indus burst its banks at Drahma.
Soon the rescue teams reached the area and started shifting the people to safe locations.
The rescuers said that so far they had shifted 116 people.
Floodwaters reach Panjnad
Floodwaters from different rivers of the Punjab have now started converging at Panjnad, while the water level is also rising in the River Indus at Guddu Barrage.
The inflow of water at the site has been recorded at over 369,000 cusecs.
