Cement prices in Pakistan have remained relatively stable in September 2025, with only minor variations across leading brands despite widespread flooding that has disrupted construction projects and increased transportation costs, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.
The market continues to reflect a narrow pricing band, keeping competition intense.
Current cement prices range between Rs1,380 and Rs1,430 per bag.
Cherat Cement, Falcon Cement, and Flying Pakistan are available at Rs1,380, positioning themselves as the most budget-friendly options.
Askari Cement and Kohat Cement are priced at Rs1,390, while DG Khan Cement, Fauji Cement, Lucky Cement, and Pioneer stand at Rs1,400, reflecting the industry’s average benchmark.
BestWay Cement is priced slightly higher at Rs1,410, maintaining a stronger brand position, while Maple Leaf Cement tops the list at Rs1,430 per bag, making it the most premium choice in the market.
Despite logistical challenges caused by floods, including increased costs and limited transport availability, the cement sector has managed to maintain pricing stability.
Analysts noted that most companies are competing closely around the Rs1,400 mark, with only a few opting for either lower-cost or premium market positioning.
On the sales front, the growth momentum seen earlier in the year moderated in August 2025 compared to July, although year-on-year performance still showed improvement.
According to industry data, cement sales in August were recorded at 3.097 million tonnes, a 10.33 percent rise from 2.807 million tonnes in August 2024.
Exports also rose by 22.13 percent, reaching 749,723 tonnes compared to 613,875 tonnes during the same month last year.
In contrast, July 2025 had seen stronger growth figures, with domestic consumption climbing by 18.61 percent and exports surging by 84 percent compared to July 2024.
