First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting with the Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad to review the flood situation in the district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, DIG, SSP, along with officials from the Irrigation, Health and Rescue 1122 departments, briefed the First Lady in detail on the evolving situation and the measures being taken to safeguard residents.
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari stressed that close monitoring of the flood relay entering Sindh was crucial and directed that immediate access to people in high-risk areas must remain the top priority. She instructed officials to establish medical camps in the affected regions to ensure timely healthcare services for displaced families.
She said that rescue services should be kept on high alert to protect human lives and provide swift assistance to vulnerable communities.
