The Supreme Court of Pakistan will commence its new judicial year (2025–2026) on September 8, with an inaugural conference scheduled at the Supreme Court Auditorium, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.
According to an invitation letter issued by the Registrar, the conference will begin at 9:30 am and will review the progress of judicial reforms undertaken by the court. The Hon’ble Chief Justice is expected to outline priority areas for the Supreme Court in his policy note address during the session.
Following the inaugural conference, a One Stop Public Facilitation Centre will also be inaugurated as part of efforts to enhance public access to judicial services.
Invitations have been sent out to members of the Supreme Court Bar Association and other relevant stakeholders to attend the event.
