PPP Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Imran Khan has committed political suicide under pressure, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He called upon the higher judiciary to form a full court bench to deliberate on this constitutional crisis.
Bilawal was addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Monday with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, MQM-P Chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and JUI leaders Maulana Asad Mehmood.
During the presser, he expressed his satisfaction saying that opposition at least had succeeded in sending the ‘selected government’ home.
He said if Prime Minister Imran Khan had tendered his resignation before the no-confidence motion, then it would have been a legal way.
The PPP leader wondered if our constitution was a mere piece of paper saying it was responsibility of all political parties to safeguard it.
Bilawal said there was no connection between ‘international conspiracy’ and no-confidence motion. They are two separate things, he said adding that the PTI too had got funding from Israel and India.
On this occasion, JUI Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s son Maulana Asad Mehmood said that Imran was trying to put pressure on state institutions.
MQM Chief Maqbool Siddiqui said that Imran had snatched 14 seats from his party and now the MQM had snatched government from him. He said if Imran kept telling lies on roads, we would bring out our truth.
