The identity of eight militants killed in clashes with security forces in North Waziristan a few days ago has been established, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Security sources told the 24News TV channel that two Afghans were among those eliminated.

Elaborating further, they said that Ameer Hamza Haqyar, son of Abdul Karim, and Ameer Abdur Raheem, son of Zaroli, belonged to Paktia province of Afghanistan.

On the other hand, defence experts are of the view that recent incursion by militants has proved that the Afghan Taliban are patronizing them.

In fact, experts claim, the Afghan Taliban want to get relief and gain trade concessions from Pakistan by engaging in peace talks.

They opine that truth of the matter is that there is no change in Taliban’s mindset, and if somebody is pinning hopes on talks, he is grossly mistaken.

The Taliban are not serious, experts have said, adding hence there is a need to increase the intensity of Operation Ghazab Lil Haq.

On April 1, security forces had eliminated eight militants in Datakhel area of North Waziristan.
