Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati on Saturday to discuss the evolving regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts to defuse it.

According to official sources, both leaders exchanged views on recent developments and emphasized the urgent need for dialogue and de-escalation amid rising tensions in the region.

The two sides underscored that diplomatic engagement remains essential for maintaining peace and stability, agreeing that constructive dialogue is the most effective way forward.

During the conversation, Pakistan and Egypt also agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on regional and international issues.
