The Pasoori hitmaker shared visuals, showing him dressed in a bright yellow skirt and jacket, a look that quickly triggered a storm of commentary on social media.
The song itself, as Ali explained, reflects the emotional state of a bride who asks her friends about her groom.
However, the artistic interpretation was overshadowed by criticism of his styling and open queer identity.
While some fans praised the song’s artistic flair, others launched harsh personal attacks, calling his appearance ‘inappropriate’ and ‘against cultural values’.
Several users condemned his sartorial choice, alleging it was part of a larger ‘agenda’.
One critic commented, “The earnings he was raised on were through haram ways, which compel him to do such things.”
Another accused him of ‘manifesting some secret LGBTQ agenda’.
Others bluntly stated, “He is openly queer and is in a relationship with a man, so what’s there to wonder about?”
A few even claimed that Ali himself often shares his identity openly, saying: “He literally says he’s queer.”

Ali Sethi is the son of veteran journalist and former PCB chairman Najam Sethi and politician Jugnu Mohsin. His sister Mira Sethi is a well-known writer and actress.
