Two miners lost their lives after a landslide fell on a coalmine in Duki area of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to details, the incident occurred in the Chamalang area of Duki.
Later, rescue personnel retrieved the dead bodies of the two colliers from the mine. The dead miners were identified as Ruadad Khan son of Dad caste Kakar was a resident of Zhob.
The other miner was Najeebullah, son of Hussain, caste Kakar, resident of Qila Saifullah.
The dead bodies of both labourers were sent to their native towns from the hospital after completion of the necessary procedure.
Earlier in April 2025, two colliers died after inhaling poisonous gas inside a coalmine in the Chamalang coal field of Duki district.
Levies officials said the victims had gone inside the mine to dig coal. However, they felt unconscious after inhaling the poisonous gas which had accumulated inside the mine.
Other labourers outside the mine informed the owner that no signal was coming from the miners working inside.
