Two notorious dacoits were killed during a police encounter in the Depalpur area of Punjab province on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The police encounter took place in the Lalupur area of Depalpur.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Depalpur Mehar Yousaf said that the dead dacoits were involved in more than fifty criminal cases. The dacoits were identified as Naeem Ullah alias Mamni and Riaz Ladho.
Police also recovered two snatched motorcycles and arms from the possession of the dead dacoits.
The DSP said that a search operation is underway to apprehend the two fugitive dacoits.
