Kylie Jenner has revealed that she recently underwent stem cell therapy to treat the chronic back pain she has been battling since the birth of her son Aire three years ago.
The beauty mogul, 28, opened up about her medical journey in a series of Instagram Stories, giving fans a rare and candid look at her health struggles.
Sharing a photo from a hospital bed, Jenner wrote, “I’ve been dealing with bad chronic back pain for almost three years after my last pregnancy, and nothing I tried seemed to help.”
She went on to explain that her decision was inspired by her sister Kim Kardashian’s positive results with the same treatment.
“Hearing how much relief Kim got gave me the confidence to look into stem cell therapy,” she said, crediting Dr Akhan and his team at Eterna Health for guiding her through the process.
“Everyone’s body is different, but this has been a huge step in my healing. Definitely do your research, talk to your doctor and medical professionals, but I just wanted to share in case this helps anyone.”
Jenner also posted photos showing bandages on her lower back, along with a selfie with Dr. Akhan inside his clinic.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder shares daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with ex-partner Travis Scott.
In November, she opened up about the challenges of becoming a mother at a young age during her appearance on Khloé Kardashian's podcast Khloé in Wonder Land.
Jenner admitted she initially struggled to balance motherhood with maintaining her sense of identity.
“It took me like a year after both pregnancies to feel like myself again,” she said, adding that the emotional toll and postpartum period were especially difficult.
