Former premier Nawaz Sharif and JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had a telephonic conversation on Wednesday.
They deliberated upon joint opposition campaign and political situation. The former PM vowed to continue backing Fazl-headed Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), saying that the PML-N will utilise all resources to make the PDM successful.
After passing the deadline the opposition set to hold a long march, Nawaz, Fazl and ex-president Asif Ali Zardari talked over the phone. Nawaz and Fazl greeted Asif Ali Zardari on his daughter’s marriage. Reportedly they expressed their resolve to continue with the anti-government campaign.
