Police in Lahore have registered an FIR against four personnel posted at Gujjarpura police station for receiving bribe from those buying kites, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The case was registered against ASI Amjad Shakeel, ASI Naseer Ahmad, ASI Ghulam Murtaza and constable Irfan on the complaint of DSP Muhammad Naeem.
As per the FIR, the cops received Rs56,000 from Usman, Subhan and Sufyan, threatening them that they would be booked in a case in case they did not pay the amount.
They also snatched 100 kites from them.
The initial inquiry found all four these personnel guilty.
The incident came to light when a video went viral on social media.
