Preparations for Kashmir Solidarity Day to be observed on February 5 have been finalized in Islamabad, with the Federal Ministry of Kashmir Affairs issuing the schedule for the main event.
According to the schedule, all participants have been directed to reach Main Jinnah Avenue Shaheed-e-Millat, China Chowk at 9:20 am. A solidarity walk will be organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, followed by a Kashmir Solidarity Rally from China Chowk to D Chowk.
Officers and employees of all ministries will participate in the walk, while federal ministers will join the participants from the Parade Ground Metro Bus Station and lead the rally.
A minute’s silence will be observed at 10 am by sounding a siren, and tributes will be paid to Kashmiri martyrs. Speeches will also be delivered during the ceremony highlighting the significance of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
On this occasion, Pakistan will reiterate its full solidarity with the Kashmiri people. Kashmir Solidarity Day will be celebrated in a grand manner across the country on February 5.
