A 16-year-old girl, Fatima Kanbharo, was killed and her father, Ayub Kanbharo, injured in a firing incident by unknown armed men near the Narli Mainir area on Sunday, police said.
According to police and family sources, the attack occurred while Ayub Kanbharo was returning home with his daughter.
Eyewitnesses, including the girl’s uncle Altaf Kanbharo, confirmed the assault. Fatima Kanbharo died on the spot, while her father sustained injuries during the attack.
Upon receiving information, Reeti police reached the scene and shifted the deceased and the injured to a nearby hospital for medical care and investigation. Authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident.
