Pakistan on Sunday expressed concern over the evolving situation in Venezuela, emphasizing the need for restraint and de-escalation to resolve the crisis peacefully, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement, the Foreign Office said Pakistan attaches great importance to the well-being of the Venezuelan people and highlighted the necessity of adhering to the principles of the UN Charter and international law in addressing all outstanding issues.
The statement added that Pakistan is closely monitoring developments in the country and remains engaged in ensuring the safety and security of members of the Pakistani community in Venezuela.
