FIA summons 15 CDA officers over corruption

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned 15 officers and officials for corruption worth millions of rupees in Capital Development Authority (CDA), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

In this regard, FIA Corporate Crime Circle has issued a second notice.

According to notification, proceedings are underway under inquiry number 49/2022. 

Investigation is being conducted on the basis of PAC audit para for loss of Rs297.09 million.

According to FIA due to illegal trade change and improper conversion charges without the approval of the CDA board caused loss to treasury. 

Officers ordered to appear at FIA Islamabad on July 8, 9 and 10 at 11 am.

The summoned officers include member states, former directors, deputy directors, accounts, admin and junior staff.

FIA warned that in case of non-appearance, legal action will be taken.
