The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a suspected militant allegedly linked to India's intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), and recovered explosive material from his possession. According to the sources the suspect identified as Roz Ali Khan a resident of Armar Miana, Peshawar was arrested in the Koh Noor City area on the Faisalabad Road in Okara district.
He was allegedly present there with the intention of targeting sensitive installations. Recovered items included explosive material, a prima card, detonators, electric wire, three batteries and two mobile phones, CTD Officials.
The suspect has been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation, the sources added. The allegations regarding the suspect's links to RAW and the planned attack have been made by CTD officials and are part of the ongoing investigation.
