Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has convened a meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan to review amendments to the rules governing judicial appointments, sources said.
According to sources, the meeting will be held on June 11 under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Yahya Afridi.
The Judicial Commission is expected to discuss and examine proposed amendments to the rules governing judges’ appointments during the session.
Sources said the proposed changes will come under detailed consideration as part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to review the framework for judicial appointments.
