Fly Jinnah a low-budget private airline of Pakistan on Tuesday announced to launch its direct flight operation from Lahore to Muscat with effect from April 2, 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, the airline will operate three weekly flights between Lahore to Muscat. These flights will be operated on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Sources further revealed that the passengers will have to pay Omani Riyal 35 for their journey from Lahore to Muscat.
These Fly Jinnah flights already allotted call signs of 9P-550 and 9P-551. The first flight will depart from Lahore to Muscat at 12.20 am and will land back Lahore's Allama Iqbal Internationa Airport at 6.35 am.
The management of Fly Jinnah has already finalized all the necessary preparations to start flight operation.
Earlier, on February 4, 2025, Bangladesh has approved Pakistan's private airline, Fly Jinnah, to operate direct flights on the Karachi-Dhaka route, resuming air connectivity between the two cities after nearly a decade.
"They (Fly Jinnah) applied to us, and we have approved it," Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) chairman Air-Vice Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan told Bangladeshi media.
Before launching operations, Fly Jinnah has to appoint a local General Sales Agent (GSA) in Bangladesh. "Now Fly Jinnah will appoint a GSA (General Sales Agent). Once they request slots and frequencies, we will provide them. Our part is currently complete," Bhuiyan said.
