Pakistan People Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stressed the need for ensuring the safety of media workers around the world as they are getting through a difficult situation, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
“We need to ensure the safety of media workers around the world. They are facing a difficult situation,” the foreign minister said in his message in connection with the World Press Freedom.
He added: “Compromises on freedom of expression is out of question. The constitution of Pakistan guarantees media freedom. Access to accurate information is the foundation of a strong democratic society.
