Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry are set to brief the top leaders of various political parties about the prevailing national security situation amid the growing tension with India.
The background briefing has been arranged at the PTV Headquarters in Islamabad and its main focus is the ongoing tension between Pakistan and India and its aftermaths.
On this occasion, meeting participants will be briefed about the preparedness of the Pakistan Army, diplomatic measures taken by the Pakistani government and the narrative of the state vis-à-vis the Indian aggression.
The political leaders who have reached the venue so far are Dr Farooq Sattar, Khurram Dastgir, Abid Sher Ali, Senator Abdul Shakoor and former prime minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Sardar Attique Amad Khan.
