A tragic domestic dispute turned deadly in Tehsil Kabal of District Swat on Sunday, as a man shot and killed his wife before attempting to take his own life, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police sources, the man, identified as 70-year-old Khanzada, opened fire on his 50-year-old wife following a heated argument. After fatally shooting her, he attempted suicide by shooting himself.
Upon receiving the report, a police team quickly arrived at the scene. The woman's body was shifted to Civil Hospital Kabal for legal formalities.
Meanwhile, Khanzada, who sustained critical injuries, was given first aid and later transferred to Central Hospital in Saidu Sharif for further treatment.
