A tragic collision between two cars on Chowbara-Garh Maharaja Road in Layyah claimed the lives of three people and left four others seriously injured, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the report, the deceased have been identified as Imran and Kashif. The five injured individuals were named as Yasir, Khalil, Hasnain Akhtar, Muhammad Farooq, Ansar Ali, and Mudasar Ali.
Rescue 1122 teams promptly responded to the scene, provided on-site medical assistance to the injured, and transferred both the deceased and the wounded to the Tehsil Hospital in Chowbara for further treatment.
Rescue teams confirmed that all the victims belonged to Vehari and were travelling when the high-speed collision occurred. Initial findings suggest the accident was caused by reckless speeding.
