For the first time, the Pakistan Super League selected an Emerging Team of the Tournament as well comprising of young Pakistan players.
The team was selected by a five-member committee from the esteemed commentary team.
The HBL PSL 11 saw a total of 44 matches, which were played from 26 March to 3 May in Lahore and Karachi.
The Emerging Team of the Tournament is headlined by Sameer Minhas who was the leading run scorer of Islamabad United in with 349 runs at an impressive strike rate of 155.80.
Farhan Yousuf – the best fielder of the tournament and an immediate breakout star after leading Pakistan in the ICC U19 World Cup 2026 – also makes it to the team along with his fiery teammate Ali Raza, who claimed the lone hat-trick in the 11th edition.
Momin Qamar is the lead spinner, while Ubaid Shah of Lahore Qalandars, Hunain Shah of Hyderabad Kingsmen and Multan Sultans’ Mohammad Ismail make up a formidable pace attack with Ali. Saad Masood is slotted in at no.6 for his prodigious all-round ability.
Shamyl Hussain, Maaz Sadaqat and wicketkeeper-batter Mirza Saad Baig make up a promising top four for the Emerging team of the tournament.
