Rainfall in various parts of Lahore brought a noticeable drop in temperature and created pleasant weather conditions across the city on Monday.
Showers were reported in areas including Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Township, Kachha Jail Road, Kot Lakhpat and Peco Road. The rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, along with cool winds, contributed to a refreshing change in the city’s atmosphere.
According to weather data, the current temperature in Lahore dropped to 24 degrees Celsius, while wind speed was recorded at 14 kilometers per hour and humidity stood at 59 percent.
The Met Office has forecast that the maximum temperature in the city is likely to reach 33 degrees Celsius over the next 24 hours, while the minimum temperature may fall to 19 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, Lahore’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) improved to 92, reflecting a reduction in air pollution following the rainfall.
