CDWP approves nine projects worth Rs224 billion

The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved nine development projects at an estimated cost of Rs 224 billion, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

The CDWP under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Planning and Development was convened on Friday to review and approve vital development projects.

The approved projects included various sectors, including energy, governance, health, and education.

According to an announcement, the CDWP meeting also cleared five projects worth Rs 10 billion.  

The CDPW also recommended sending four projects worth Rs 213.9 billion to the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNIC) for taking its approval.  

The meeting also gave its approval to a restoration plan for flood-affected schools in Balochistan.

The establishment of the Pak-Korea Testing Laboratory was also okayed by the meeting.

It was decided to send the Sindh flood-hit school rehabilitation plan to ECNIC.

The food security sports plan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been decided to send to ECNIC for its consent.
