The federal government has decided to expedite Ishaq Dar’s senate defeat process and for this, the government will file a petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Supreme Court on 8 May 2018 de-seat Ishaq Dar. Till the final verdict of the Supreme Court, Ishaq Dar could not take an oath and nor he could be de-seat from the Senate seat.
Ishaq Dar has also written a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
