A police probe has found a mentally unstable man behind the killing of his four children in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to the DIG Investigation, it was found during the investigation of the kidnapping of four siblings in Kahana.
The accused, Azeem, was furious over the birth of another daughter a few days ago, the police said.
The investigation pointed out that Azim took four children on a motorcycle and brought them to Kasur on the evening of October 1.
He made the children stand on the canal bridge asked them to take pictures and pushed them into the canal.
The CCTV footage of the accused taking the children to Nahartak has come to light and according to the police, the detainee is not mentally stable.
