The Punjab Government Tuesday decided to deduct the health card premium of the government employees and their families from their salaries, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
According to the notification, the government employees of Punjab will pay Rs 4350 as a premium for the health card.
The monthly premium was fixed at Rs362 50.
The Finance Department was directed to elaborate on the mechanism for the collection of health card premiums.
