Punjab CM Maryam gets briefing from eight major departments

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif received a detailed briefing from eight major departments while chairing a 4-hour-long meeting in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The meeting was briefed that it has been decided to provide bottled water to every household to relieve the hardship of bringing water from remote areas.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated the health department for its performance in flood-affected areas.

About 1.15 million people were treated in the affected areas during the flood.

Not less than 174 people were bitten by snakes in the flood-affected areas. All lives were saved by administering snakebite vaccines in flood relief camps.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed gratitude for saving precious human lives through timely treatment in snakebite incidents.

Punjab set a record in cervical cancer vaccination, taking the lead over other provinces.

It was briefed that ration cards issued to 11,000 miners in Punjab, the target of 25,000 cards will be completed this month.

Old contracts of pink salt canceled and revenue increased 5 times from re-auction. It was also decided to market pink salt in America, Europe and UAE.

Initial study of Iron and Steel in Chiniot has been completed and tests will be completed in 4 months and started.

Raids were conducted on the theft of placer gold in Mianwali and Section 144 was imposed in this regard.
