Private operators will also send 21,654 pilgrims who were deprived of Hajj last year for Hajj. A total of 30,949 seats have been booked, along with 21,654 from last year and 9,295 new bookings.
The last date for booking for private Hajj is October 17. The booking ratio for the last 15 days was 620 seats per day. Private Hajj operators could book only 9295 pilgrims in 15 days. 14 days left for Hajj booking deadline and operators have to book more than 29,000 seats.
Now an average of 2075 bookings will have to be made per day under the private Hajj quota. If the booking was not completed by the due date, the private Hajj quota can be merged with the government quota.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has given written instructions to private operators to expedite Hajj bookings. This year, the quota of private operators has been reduced from 90,000 to 60,000. Private operators will also send 21,654 pilgrims who were deprived of Hajj last year. The last date for booking for private Hajj is October 17.
