The dead body of 25-year-old TikToker Arishma was found with a rope around her neck inside her flat in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident took place in Lahore’s Islampura area. According to police, Arishma worked as a beautician and was living alone in the flat.
Superintendent of Police (SP) City Arshad Hayat Kanju said the woman’s body was shifted to the hospital mortuary for completion of the necessary procedures.
The SP said police were investigating the case from all angles, including the possibility of suicide.
He added that legal action would be taken after the post-mortem report is received.
