A tragic incident occurred in the Yar Hussain area of Swabi, where the roof of a dilapidated house suddenly collapsed, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old boy and leaving four others seriously injured.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the deceased child has been identified as Ayan, aged 12.
Among the injured are three women and a 10-year-old child, who sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Rescue teams responded promptly and shifted the injured to Kalu Khan Hospital for immediate medical treatment.
Rescue team members confirmed the women injured in the collapse are aged 35, 40 and 61.
Initial reports suggest that the incident occurred due to the weakened structure of the house, with the roof giving way without warning.
Authorities have launched further investigations to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the collapse.
