According to the FIA spokesperson, the raid was conducted in Metro Site Area Orangi, Karachi, where two Afghan citizens, Habibullah and Naimatullah, were arrested.
Illegal Pakistani identity documents were recovered from the accused.
Initial investigation revealed the involvement of a NADRA officer
Assistant Superintendent Furqan Ahmed Khan Durrani, who approved the identity card.
The second raid was carried out in the nursery area where accused NADRA officer Furqan Ahmed Khan Durrani was arrested.
Action was taken against the accused under the Foreigners Act 1946 and PCA 1947.
After registering a case, three-day physical remand of the arrested accused was obtained.
Further investigation is underway, and other involved persons are being sought, and actions are on for the arrest.
