The situation in Pakistan is even worse than the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), jailed former prime minister Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan said on Tuesday quoting Kashmiris.

Talking to the media at Chakri Interchange, Aleema said that same brutalities were being committed in Indian-occupied Kashmir and Pakistan.

Responding to reporter’s question about people’s response to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) protests on August 5, Aleema said that people wanted to come out and they would come out. She said that police had been deployed everywhere to stop PTI’s protest.

She said the PTI had the support of 80 percent people of Pakistan and it would continue its movement for the rule of law in Pakistan. She said that political parties have now started realizing what is happening in the country.

Answering a reporter's question about a recent meeting between Imran Khan's sons Kasim and Suleiman Khan with US President Donald Trump, Aleema Khan said it was up to them to decide where they wanted to go and who they wanted to meet. "If not Trump, who should they go to?" she asked.

Aleema said the government was so afraid of the PTI that it was frightened by even the slightest movement of Khan's party.

Also present at the meeting, Noreen Khan said the media should speak against the rulers' atrocities. She said that police personnel were carrying out raids on people's houses and arresting their near and dear ones. She asked reporters not to drag Imran Khan's sons into Pakistani politics.
