The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Corporation Limited has appointed Khurram Mushtaq as the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following a decision made during a Board of Directors meeting on Thursday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Khurram Mushtaq will assume the responsibilities of the position after the term of Air Vice Marshal Aamir Hayat concludes.
Khurram Mushtaq, one of PIA’s most senior chiefs, brings extensive experience in aviation to his new role.
He has previously headed key departments, including Commercial, Airport Services, Flight Services, Security, and Vigilance, showcasing his leadership capabilities within the organisation.
This leadership change is expected to guide the national carrier through its ongoing challenges and operational strategies.
