Pakistan and Saudi Arabia sign customs accord

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have signed a mutual cooperation agreement on customs matters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The agreement was signed by the Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Deputy Minister of Customs Authority Engineer Abdullah Ahmed.

The agreement was signed between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia during the Zakat, Tax and Customs Conference in Riyadh.

The aim of the agreement is to facilitate customs and administrative matters to improve bilateral trade and benefit from each other's experiences in this field.

More than 70 workshops and negotiation sessions were held at the conference in Riyadh, which was attended by senior figures from about 90 local and international organizations.
